7th grade Trip to a Synagogue
7th grade has been learning about the Holocaust in reading class. Today they visited Congregation Emanuel El B'ne Jeshuran where Rabbi Jessica gave an overview of Jewish faith and showed the Torah scrolls, Dr. Plinik led a discussion about not being a bystander, and Mr. Al Beder, a Holocaust survivor, told us his moving story.
